Geoff wanted everyone in the world to know about a website he just discovered, so of course he asked me to post the news here, on the world’s most popular website.
For those who haven’t seen Atanarjuat The Fast Runner, the world’s first film written and produced in Inuktitut, the Inuit language, you can download a copy of the incredible film here. You can also download the two other films in the Fast Runner trilogy, The Journals of Knud Rasmussen and Before Tomorrow. The films are distributed on a pay what you can model, so throw them whatever you can afford.
Amazing – I remember seeing Atanarjuat in high school. Never saw the sequels. I’ll check this out!
